Flora de China
China es un país muy rico en recursos vegetales, entre su flora cuenta con más de 32.000 especies distintas y se pueden encontrar allí casi todas las variedades de plantas de las zonas fría, templada y tropical del hemisferio norte.
Crecen más de 7.000 arbustos diferentes y más de 2.500 especies arbóreas, algunas de ellas destacan por su rareza y antiguedad, como la metasequoia glyptostroboides.
El pseudolarix amabilis es otra especie propia de China que crece en las zonas montañosas del valle del río Changjiang y tiene una especial belleza por la variación de su colorido según la estación.
También hay en China una enorme cantidad de especies de vegetales comestibles y de especies de uso medicinal: ginseng, azafrán tibetano, sanqi, etc. Abundan las plantas ornamentales como la peonia o las rosas chinas.
